Review Drugstore Concealers: Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer vs. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer vs. LA Girl HD Pro Concealer

Hi Guys,

Today we have a review of our three favourite drugstore concealers for you. We have put them in a random order as they are all quite different and have their own advantages and disadvantages, therefore it is more about personal preference and what you look for in a concealer. All three are around 5 euros/dollars, which is really cheap as these three concealers can quality-wise  defenitely concur with most highstreet concealers. So, let’s start!

  • Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

For us, the biggest advantage of this concealer is definitely how long it lasts, without creasing. It is water-resistent and transfer proof. If you are looking for a great coverage concealer, you will definitely love this one as much as we do! The formula is a bit thicker than most concealers, even though we personally do not think it feels too heavy on the skin. But if you prefer lightweight concealers, you might find this one a bit too heavy under your eyes. However, it is also a great concealer to cover spots, or to contour certain areas of your face. A small disadvantage is that it is only available in 4 different shades.

  • Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer

The Maybelline concealer is the most light-weighted concealer of the three, this automatically means that the coverage is lighter as well. So, if you are more into concealers that have this light feeling, we assure you, you will really love this one! This concealer is great because it goes on so smoothly, and stays on very long without creasing. If you are more into thicker, greater coverage under your eyes, you might want to choose one of the other two, although you can still use this concealer to contour. We personally love this concealer under the eyes and for contour but not as much for covering spots, due to the coverage. The sponge applicator works well, although it is not very hygienic. This concealer is available in 6 different shades. You can buy this concealer here.

  • LA Girl HD Pro Concealer

Last but not least, is the ‘LA Girl HD Pro Concealer’. The first thing that we like about this concealer is its good coverage. It is quite a thick concealer, so again, if you are more into a concealer with a light feeling, the Maybelline one would be a better fit for you. If you are into thick concealers with full coverage the LA Girl concealer is perfect. The package of this concealer is also a little different than the other concealers. You have to squeeze the package and then the product comes out of the brush that is attached to the package. Which is definitely more hygienic than the others with the brushes. Another pro of this concealer is that it is available in 28(!) different shades, so there will be a match for everyone.

Is one of these three also your favourite concealer? Let us know in the comments!
